Students must obey the bicycle rules and regulations as well as all traffic rules or lose the privilege of bringing their bike to school. Loitering at the bike racks is not allowed and may result in loss of riding privileges. Bikes, scooters, and skateboards must be immediately stored and locked in the designated areas upon arrival at school. Special racks for locking skateboards and scooters are located in the front bike rack area and the quad. Students may checkout a loaner lock in the front office for the day with their ID. Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are NOT to be ridden on campus and will be confiscated with possible consequence. Students must wear bicycle helmets when riding to and from school. Students are not permitted to ride electric or motorized bicycles, scooters or skateboards. Sierra Vista Middle School is not responsible for damage or loss of bicycles, scooters, or skateboards.
