Student Release Procedure

Sierra Vista students are released from school at the dismissal times of 2:35 p.m. on regular days, and 12:00 p.m. on our minimum days. Please see our parking procedures for pick up.

Early Pick Up:

If you need to pick up your student early, please come to the front office with a valid ID to sign your student out. All students leaving campus must be signed out by a member on their contact screen on Parent Portal. There are certain times of the day where it may be difficult to locate your student immediately, such as lunch or Tutorial. Please plan around these times to pick up your student.

Parent/Student Reunification Protocol in case of Emergency:

In the event of an emergency, there will be two Student Release stations.  The first will be located at the flagpole at the front of the school and the second will be located at the rear driveway entrance next to Irvine Blvd (near the portables).  Parents will be expected to check their student out from school at one of these locations.  Parents entering campus at any other location will be directed to the front of the school for student release. Students will only be released to adults on the Contacts page of Parent Portal, and a valid government issued identification (driver's license or passport) will be required to sign out a student. Please be patient while you wait for your student to be brought to you. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we ensure the safety of all our students.
